Ever since I was a little girl, all I can remember, one of my fondest memories, was going to the Barnegat Lighthouse with my grandparents. My grandpa used to climb the lighthouse with me, we’d pack sandwiches and collect rocks. I loved it. I always held the lighthouse in a dear place in my heart.

My grandpa loved ice cream, it was probably where I got my love for ice cream! The funny thing was, he just wanted vanilla. Nothing else! Just plain vanilla.
I decided to FINALLY make a vanilla candle. Creamy vanilla to be exact, to match Vanilla ice cream and name it Old Barney and dedicate it to an incredible man in my life who will always be a light in my life.
When I go to the lighthouse now, I smile, because I know my grandpa would be so proud of the things I have accomplished.

A dollar of every candle that is sold will go to the NJ light house foundation to help preserve and restore all the incredible lighthouse in New Jersey, so that many other grandparents can go and make the same memories as I did with mine.
